In this collection, the painting entitled "Inquisitive Eyes" sets the theme for the rest of collection. What has existed since birth? What has changed over time? Does it lack logical thinking? Does it worry how the mind is influenced by outside forces? What do the eyes represent? The eyes are creating contradictions between feelings and logical reasoning. Among the contradictions, time and space are created. The eyes lead to time, space, the unknown and curiosity. Liang's wisdom is her ability to smartly integrate all these elements in her painting. The basic design principle tells us that impression could be expressed in two dimensions. However feeling could only be expressed with depth. The Inquisitive Eyes brings a mixture of feelings to the viewers. Feeling that seem to exist briefly, feelings that lingers on... It forces us to make choices between perception and rationality. When we finally have understood these, we realise life begins with an inquiring mind, and inquisitiveness will follow us regardless of our life journey. Being inquisitive is life itself.
